Privacy Policy

ForeRun is a calm second brain for parents, operated by SuttleSolution Media ("ForeRun," "we," "us"). This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions are always welcome at [email protected].

What we collect

We collect only what we need to help you carry less.

1. Account information: your email address, a securely stored password, and your name if you choose to add it.
2. The things you capture: the notes, tasks, dates, lists, journal entries, and household details you create in ForeRun, including any information about your family and children that you choose to enter, and photos of flyers or invitations you snap so we can pull the details out of them.
3. Voice: when you use voice capture, your speech is turned into text on your device, and we process that text, not a recording, to build your list.
4. Subscription information: whether you have an active subscription or trial. Apple processes your payment, and we never receive or store your full card number.
5. Usage and device information: how you interact with ForeRun, along with device type and basic diagnostics, so we can keep it working and improve it.

How we use it

1. To provide ForeRun: to sort your captures into an organized list, sync them across your household, send the gentle reminders you ask for, and remember what you have put down.
2. To process your subscription and free trial.
3. To support you when you reach out, and to keep the service secure and working.
4. To understand what is helpful and improve ForeRun over time.

How your captures are processed by AI

To turn your words and your photos of flyers into organized dates and to dos, we send that content to our artificial intelligence provider, Anthropic, through a secure connection. This content is used only to provide that feature back to you. It is not used to train AI models, ours or anyone else's.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we never will.

We share information only in these limited ways:

1. With service providers who help us run ForeRun under agreements that protect your data, including our hosting and database provider, our AI provider, our payment processors, and basic analytics.
2. With the household members you choose to invite. ForeRun is built to share the load, so what you place in your shared household is visible to the partner or members you add.
3. When required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of people.
4. As part of a business transfer, such as a merger or acquisition, in which case we will let you know.

How long we keep it, and deleting your account

We keep your information while your account is active. You can delete your account and its data at any time from within the app, or by emailing [email protected], and we will delete it, except for the limited records we are required to keep by law. Deleting the app alone does not delete your account.

Security

We protect your information with encryption in transit and access controls. No online service can promise perfect security, but we work hard to keep what you trust us with safe.

Children

ForeRun is made for adults, the parents and caregivers who carry the mental load. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information directly from children. Any information about your children in ForeRun is entered by you, the parent, for your own family organizing.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and to opt out of the sale of it, which is easy for us since we do not sell it. To exercise any of these, email [email protected] and we will help. You can also edit or delete your captures and your account directly in the app.

Where your data is processed

ForeRun is operated in the United States, and your information is processed there.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we will post the new version here and update the effective date above.
